Iris Johansen - Personal Name;

This book was about a young woman named Melis who is a marine researcher. She doesn't have any real family left except for her step-father, Phil Lontana. Phil is an oceanographer who is in search of an acient underwater city, the lost city of Merinth. He had been searching for the underwater city for years. Melis has no interest in helping him find it. Melis now lives on a remote island in the Carribbean where she researches dolphin behavior. Phil has gone missing. A handsome man named Kelby meets with Melis after Phil's death because he wants to find the lost city and believes Melis could help him find it.
