Pembuatan Roda Gigi Rack And Pinion untuk Modul Trainer Roda Gigi. Di era
globalisasi khususnya untuk penggunaan roda gigi rack and pinion diaplikasikan
pada sistem kerja mesin skrap. Tujuan dibuatnya penelitian ini yaitu untuk
mengetahui perhitungan dan cara pembuatan roda gigi rack and pinion. Pada
penelitian ini menggunakan 2 metode yaitu metode manual dan setting parameter.
Hasil penelitian pada mode manual diaplikasikan pada penggunaan mesin bubut,
skrap, dan mesin milling, untuk setting parameter digunakan untuk mengatur
pergerakan setiap komponen agar hasil yang didapat sesuai. Pada proses
pembuatannya menggunakan cutter modul M2, perhitungan pembuatannya
menggunakan dividing head. Piring pembagi yang digunakan berjumlah lubang 24-
25-28-30-34. Berikut data hasil pembuatan roda gigirack and pinion, pinion Z1

3,4 mm, face width (b) = 19,1 mm, sedangkan pinion Z2

(df) = 53,4 mm, circular pitch (t) = 6,1 mm, dedendum (hf) = 1,7 mm, addendum

(b) = 18,2 mm. Untuk batang rack panjang 220 mm, dan jumlah gigi z 15, whole
